a good weekend in general.
volunteered at a fundraiser for children's hospital. watched richy-riches spooj $10K on a steak dinners, vodka tastings, dinner with the australian ambassador, and the like. man, charity-hopping rich kids are annoying pieces of crap. they paid a fee to attend, i'll give them that -- though my guess is that daddy paid for them to show up, drink, bid recklessly on a few items, but not spend any real money.
the only thing that can be said for them is that, in certain situations, they might have driven the final bid up a couple hundred dollars.
it's all for the kids.
