Clinton-Gore

i'm not completely convinced that democrats are going to eventually be polarized as being either in the hillary camp or the gore camp. it's not even clear that gore is running again. i think hillary sure is.

from my perspective, i'd take gore over hillary any day of the week. and i generally like hillary. i think she's a good senator, though overly hawkish for my taste. but on choice, education, and trade i think she's solid.

gore, though, has demonstrated since his concession in 2000 that he is a man of honor, integrity, and amazing leadership. all along, gore has been pilloried by an american press corps who shun intellect. it's not a complete surprise that the american public has, twice but not really, elected a man with whom they agree on very little, especially when gore and kerry are written about with distortion and contempt.

there is no question that if gore had run the race in 2000 as the man we now know him to be -- wildly smart, funny, and capable -- this country would be in amazing shape.

yeah, i would support gore in 2008.
