contrast the scientific study of data showing that the requirement that minors notify one or more of their parents of their plans to have an abortion DOES NOT IN ANY WAY LEAD TO A REDUCTION IN ABORTIONS with the reactionary crap perfectly encapsulated by the south dakota anti-abortion law. what we have here, again, is science and individual rights being trumped by the fundamentalist desire for control over any kind of matriarchal social framework.
